This Privacy Policy explains how Time Share ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services.

By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our time zone synchronization and scheduling services, we collect several types of information:

A. Personal Information You Provide

Account Data: When you register an account, we collect your email address, username, display name, and optional profile photo. This is processed securely via Firebase Authentication.

Communication Data: Any feedback, support requests, or emails you send to us.

B. Time & Location Information

Saved Locations: We collect and save the list of cities and time zones you select to display on your dashboard.

Device Time Zone: The App accesses your device's native system timezone to determine your local offset.

Geographic Location (Optional): If you grant permission, the App accesses your device's location to automatically detect your current city and timezone. This raw geographic coordinate data (latitude and longitude) is processed entirely locally on your device to resolve your city/timezone and never leaves your device or is uploaded to our servers.

C. Subscription & Billing Data

Receipt & Purchase Verification: If you purchase a Premium subscription, payment processing is handled securely by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, receipt validation, and purchase history. We do not store or process your credit card details.

D. Advertising & Device Identifiers

For non-premium and guest users, the App integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). AdMob may collect and process:

• IP addresses and coarse location data.
• Mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., Apple's IDFA, Google's Advertising ID).
• App crash logs and device performance metrics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following core purposes:

• Core Services: To display accurate local times, calculate timezone differences, and synchronize data.
• Social Coordination: To allow you to share timezone invite links and coordinate schedule planners with approved connections.
• Cross-Device Synchronization: To back up and sync your saved locations across your devices via Cloud Firestore (for authenticated users).
• Subscription Enforcement: To validate your premium membership status and unlock premium features.
• Monetization: To serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements to guest and non-premium users.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers required to operate the App:

• Google Firebase (Firestore & Auth): For database storage, cloud synchronization, and user login services.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management, status validation, and receipt processing.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): For displaying advertising units to non-premium accounts.

User-Initiated Sharing: If you send a timezone invite link to a connection, your username, display name, profile picture, local city, and current time offset will be visible to the recipient. We do not share this information publicly.

4. Your Control & Choices

• Location Access: You can enable or disable device location access at any time via your device's operating system settings.
• Advertising IDs: You can reset your device's advertising identifier or opt-out of personalized ads via your device settings.
• Account Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated Firestore data at any time through the Settings screen in the App, or via our web-based Account Deletion Request Page.

5. Security & Data Retention

• Data Security: We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for all network communications and secure database access rules.
• Data Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all associated profile data from Firestore within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
